
Astronomy A2 – June 26 – June 30
The students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will view the night sky and learn the names of the summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah on Wednesday, June 28, to experience the programs and exhibits offered at the Planetarium. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers on Thursday, June 29. Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms @ 8:15 pm. Note: Students must ride the bus both to and from all field trips. STUDENTS WILL BE STAYING AT THE DORMS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT AND CHECKING OUT AT 10:00 AM SHARP ON FRIDAY.
