Residence Astronomy – Session A2 – June 27 – July 1 – Students will be staying at the dorms!
The students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will meet on Monday @ 1:00 pm and leave Friday @ 10:00 am. They will view the night sky and learn the names of the summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah on Wednesday. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers on Thursday evenings. Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms @ 8:15 pm. Students must ride the bus both to and from all field trips. Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towels.
